Application Guide for Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program 

Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program is a full scholarship established by Ministry of  Education to 

support Chinese universities to enroll outstanding international students for postgraduate studies in China.

Scholarship students can register for either Chinese-taught program or English-taught program if applicable.

This is a full scholarship which covers

-tuition;

-accommodation;

-living stipend;

-medical insurance

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

- be a citizen of a country other than P. R. China, and be in good health;

- be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs;

- be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.

Chinese University Program generally does not support registered students who are studying in China when applying for this

 scholarship.

Timeline of Application

Scholarship programs are only applicable for the autumn session.

The application starts from January 1st to March 31st.

The qualified candidates will be informed of the evaluation result during April.

The final list of scholarship winners will be published in June.

The official admission document will be delivered from late June.

Application Procedure & Document

1.       Complete the online application procedure at http://laihua.csc.edu.cn, submit online the completed  and download it for

 the next step.

2.       Submit application documents as follows:

¨ 

¨ Highest diploma (photocopy)

¨ Academic transcripts

¨ A Study Plan or Research Proposal (in Chinese or English)

¨ Two Recommendation Letters signed by professor/associate professor (in Chinese or English)

¨ Valid Language Proficiency Certificate (if available)

Note:

Academic documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

Both digital version and hard copies of the application materials are accepted. Digital version should be sent to hubeiuniversity@foxmail.com
