Long-term Chinese Language Program

Duration: One-two years

Language of Instruction: Chinese 

Program features: with the training of listening, speaking, reading and writing of Chinese, the students can communicate in Chinese by learning the program whose content included the fundamental knowledge and basic skills of Chinese language and literature. This program can set a good foundation for the foreign students to have a further study in the research of Chinese language and culture.  

Teaching method: this program teach students Chinese mainly by class teaching of Chinese language knowledge and skills, and combined with language social practice, such as language competitions, teaching Chinese in the primary and middle school and watching drama, music concert, art exhibition, and traveling for some cultural scenic in China.  

Pre-elementary class: Comprehensive Chinese (I), Listening, Oral Chinese, Chinese Characters

Elementary class: Comprehensive Chinese (II), Extensive Reading, Oral Chinese, Listening, Introduction to Chinese Culture 

Intermediate class: Comprehensive Chinese (III), Newspaper Reading, Extensive Reading, Oral Chinese, Press Listening, Introduction to Chinese History
